Report: Henderson officer allegedly had sex with prostitute several times

The Henderson police officer arrested Wednesday for soliciting prostitution is alleged to have had sex with the prostitute on several occasions, according to his arrest report.

Michael Ray Stevens’ arrest came after Las Vegas police vice detectives nabbed several prostitutes. The women talked about having sex with police officers, and one of the women, Jill Robbearts, told detectives about Stevens, according to the report. Robbearts said she knew he was a cop because Stevens, 34, showed her his badge and let her feel it.

Detectives then had her call Stevens and set up a meeting where Stevens would believe he would have sex with her and another woman for money.

Robbearts and an undercover female vice detective met Stevens in the parking lot of PT’s Pub on Tropicana Avenue near U.S. Highway 95, the report states. Stevens discussed paying for sex with the two women, and he followed them to another location in his white Cadillac Escalade.

An officer in a marked patrol car who was pre-arranged to pull over the Escalade arrested Stevens. Stevens later told detectives that he met Robbearts on Craigslist and acknowledged having sex with her for money in the past.
