Sandy Valley boy killed in I-15 wreck

A 13-year-old Nevada boy was killed Wednesday night in a crash in southern Utah, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

A 1996 Cadillac Eldorado veered off the side of Interstate 15 near Leeds. The driver overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled multiple times.

Brandon Christopher Arduino-Boggs of Sandy Valley was killed, the Highway Patrol said.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was partially thrown from the vehicle, the agency said.

Trooper Cameron Roden said the driver was the boy’s father. He was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.
