Maggie Morris addresses friends and fans of her husband, longtime piano player David Morris, at Piero's Monkey Room Lounge on Monday. Morris died last month at the age of 66 after a career that included playing in a South Philly band with Chubby Checker (pictured at left). Always dapper in a tuxedo or derby hat, Morris played spent most of the last 20 years playing at Kiefer's atop the Carriage House, Cafe Michelle on Sahara, the Ipanema Lounge at the Rio, Ichabod's, Play It Again Sam and Piero's, where he spent the last eight years.
