A vehicle and train collided around 10:55 a.m. this morning near Bermuda and Sunset roads, blocking access on Sunset Road as crews worked to dislodge the stuck car, Las Vegas police said.
The crash occurred just before 11 a.m. when the driver of the car tried to cross the tracks near the intersection, police spokesman Bill Cassell said.
The car became stuck under the front of the train, which dragged it a few feet before stopping.
No injuries were reported.
The identity of the driver was not released by police.
Cassell said it is unclear whether the train operator was able to see the car and slow or how the driver got beyond the traffic barriers.
