The names of a northwest Arizona homicide victim and the man suspected in the slaying were released Tuesday by Mohave County sheriff’s officials.
Spokeswoman Trish Carter said 54-year-old Mario Francisco Izquierdo-Diaz was stabbed to death at his home just north of Kingman.
The victim was found early Friday in a bedroom of the home in the 2800 block of Lass Avenue. Carter said the suspect, Eric Blake Depierro, 20, of Kingman, was acquainted with the victim.
Carter said no robbery or burglary took place, and the motive for the slaying is under investigation.
Anyone with information on Depierro’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 928-753-0753 or Silent Witness at 928-753-1234.
