Titus, Heck agree to three debates

Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., and Republican Joe Heck, the two major-party candidates for Congressional District 3, have agreed to at least three debates in advance of the Nov. 2 election.

The debates both candidates have confirmed are:

■ Oct. 11: 7 p.m. at Congregation Ner Tamid in Henderson.

■ Oct. 13: 7:30 p.m. at Temple Beth Sholom in Las Vegas.

■ Oct. 14: 8 p.m. at Vegas PBS in Las Vegas, co-sponsored by the Review-Journal.

The Heck campaign also said a televised town hall for members of the AARP and a joint appearance on the political show “Face to Face with Jon Ralston” are in the works.

The Vegas PBS and Face to Face events would be televised.
