Woman injured in Jan. 11 accident dies

A woman injured in an accident near Moapa earlier this month has died.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, Barbara M. Nelson, 73, from Spokane, Wash., died Tuesday at University Medical Center from injuries she received in a Jan. 11 crash.

Authorities said Nelson was driving a 2008 Subaru sport utility vehicle south on state Route 169 when a 1995 Toyota turned in front of her.

Both drivers were taken to UMC.

The other driver's condition was not known Wednesday.
