LETTER: Emphasis in the wrong spot

The Jan. 30 Review-Journal sports section included the salaries of the UNLV football staff. In the same edition, a story reveals that an “early bird” high school math class was discontinued because of a lack of money. These students are the future. Perhaps it would be a good plan to help those math students and not place so much emphasize on football.
