In reaching new heights of craven sucking up, Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo didn’t comment on the pardon of Michele Fiore, to whom he gave $5,000 toward a monument for a fallen police officer, which she went ahead and used for personal expenses. He testified at her trial, for goodness sake, presumably not for the defense. You’d think he’d be embarrassed.
What about players setting records being recognized for their accomplishments while using performance-enhancing drugs?
