LETTER: Procrastinating on the Real ID

The Real ID Act was passed in 2005 and scheduled to be implemented in 2008. It was passed in response to the 9/11 tragedy. As with many things by our government, the implementation was postponed over and over again. Americans were given 17 years to get their IDs. It is a case of too bad so sad for those who procrastinated.
