A huge thank you goes to the Review-Journal’s Henry Brean for making me and other Las Vegas residents aware of the public meeting on the sweeping land proposal put forth by county officials. His reporting and articles were insightful and well-balanced. More importantly, they convey exactly why a free press is vital to our democratic process.
So many possibilities.
A cautionary tale.
I sit in traffic and watch an occasional vehicle go by.
A story of Metro and a lone homeless girl.
But does it send the right message?
We know when we see a bad water bill. Assembly Bill 30 is one of those bills.
But watch out now that the state has elected all Democrats.
Let the states that produced nuclear waste keep it.
With all the problems facing Nevada, it seem that our state representatives and senators are simply diddling while Rome burns.
Our kids are immersed in it 24/7 to the point of blurring reality with fantasy.
