Hepatitis C: A hidden disease [Infographic]

(BPT) – Hepatitis C is a serious liver disease that affects an estimated 3.2 million Americans. Three out of every 4 people living with Hepatitis C are baby boomers – individuals born from 1945-1965. However, about half of those infected don’t know they have Hepatitis C. That’s why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends everyone born from 1945-1965 get tested for Hepatitis C. New treatments can now cure this disease.
