Tickets for Cubs-Mets series at Cashman Field go on sale Tuesday

Single-game tickets will go on sale at noon Tuesday for this spring's Big League Weekend games between the New York Mets and the Chicago Cubs.

The exhibition games, which will be played at Cashman Field, are scheduled for March 31 at 5:05 p.m. and April 1 at 1:05 p.m.

The individual tickets can be purchased at the Cashman Field Box Office as well as Ticketmaster outlets at selected Smith's Food & Drug stores and at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for each game will be $40 for reserved seats, berm and grandstand; $50 for plaza seats and $60 for field seats.

Both teams are expected to bring the bulk of their opening day rosters.

The series will be the final spring training games for the Mets, who travel to Kansas City for an April 3 World Series rematch with the Royals in the season opener for both teams. The Cubs leave Las Vegas for a two-game exhibition series at the Los Angeles Angels.
