Findlay Prep takes on St. Benedict’s in televised tournament semifinal

The Henderson-based Findlay Prep will play in the semifinals of the 2013 National High School Invitational today at Georgetown Prep in North Bethesda, Md.
The top-seeded Pilots will face fourth-seeded St. Benedict’s Prep (N.J.) at 1:30 p.m. It will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
Findlay Prep advanced to the semifinal yesterday by beating Montrose Christian (Md.) 57-53. St Benedict’s won their quarterfinal game against La Lumiere (Ind.) 73-60.
The Pilots enter the game on a 54-game winning streak dating back to December 2011. The winner will play in the championship game on Saturday.
