What to expect during Sunday’s 10th day at NBA Summer League
The 10th day of the 2016 NBA Summer League will exclusively be in the Thomas & Mack Center.
There will be two semifinal games, with the winners advancing to Monday’s championship.
The San Antonio Spurs will not be defending their title as they lost Wednesday to Minnesota.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
*A day after hitting a 30-footer for the win over the Nuggets, Phoenix’s Tyler Ulis will be back to lead the Suns against the Timberwolves at 3 p.m. Ulis, who was selected in the second round and 34th overall in this year’s draft, has been one of the top players in the summer league and will look to send the Suns to the championship. Minnesota’s Tyus Jones might have other plans.
*Chicago’s Bobby Portis, who was the No. 22 pick in last year’s draft out of Arkansas, has drastically improved in his second Las Vegas Summer League. What will he do for an encore after recording 17 points and nine rebounds in an 88-85 win over Washington on Saturday? He’ll meet the backcourt duo of Jordan McRae and Kay Felder at 5 p.m.
