What to watch for in today’s NBA Summer League Championship

The final day of the 2016 NBA Summer League will feature the championship game in the Thomas & Mack Center.

Minnesota, the last seed of the 24-team tournament, will take on second-seeded Chicago in a matchup of Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau’s current and former teams.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

*What does the NBA Summer League MVP have left? In Minnesota’s four-game winning streak point guard Tyus Jones is averaging 22.8 points, 8.3 assists and 1.75 steals. Does he have one more heroic performance in him to take the title?

*Will the Bulls frontcourt be able to dominate? Forward Bobby Portis and center Cristiano Felicio have had strong summer leagues for Chicago, and will take on a Timberwolves team devoid of notable names in the frontcourt outside of Denzel Valentine’s old Michigan State teammate Adreian Payne.
