College football betting trends

Clemson at Syracuse: The Tigers are on a 7-2 run against the spread away from Death Valley. Clemson also is on a 7-2 ATS run overall. The Orange are on a 2-7 ATS skid at the Carrier Dome. Edge: Clemson.

Washington State at California: The Cougars have covered the last two meetings against the Golden Bears and three of four. Washington State is on a 16-7 ATS run on the road. Edge: Washington State.

Texas Tech at West Virginia: The Mountaineers are on a 1-4 ATS skid against the Red Raiders. Texas Tech is on a 11-3-1 ATS run overall, including 4-0-1 ATS this season, and are on a 7-2 ATS stretch as a road underdog. Edge: Texas Tech.

Texas Christian at Kansas State: The Wildcats have covered the past two in the series and are on an 8-2 ATS run as home underdogs. Kansas State coach Bill Snyder is 33-17 ATS as an underdog since his return in 2009. TCU coach Gary Patterson is 6-13 ATS as visiting chalk since 2011. Edge: Kansas State.

Georgia Tech at Miami (Florida): The Yellow Jackets are on a 1-7 ATS slide against the Hurricanes. Georgia Tech is on an 8-2 ATS run as an underdog overall. Miami is on an 8-3-1 ATS streak at home. Edge: Miami.

UNLV at Air Force: The Rebels are on a 2-5 ATS skid in conference road games, but are on an 8-3 ATS run as road underdogs overall. The Falcons are on a 13-6-1 ATS run at home. Edge: Slight to Air Force.

UNR at Colorado State: The Wolf Pack are on a 5-3 ATS run in conference road games. The Rams are on an 11-3 ATS run overall and are 16-7 as home chalk since 2012. Edge: Colorado State.

Utah at Southern California: The home team has covered all six in the series since the Utes joined the Pac-12 in 2012. Utah is on a 9-2 ATS uptick overall and is on an 8-2 ATS run as a road underdog. The Trojans are on a 1-6 ATS skid overall. Edge: Slight to Utah.

UCLA at Arizona: The Bruins have won and covered the past five meetings but are on a 2-7-1 ATS skid away from the Rose Bowl. The Wildcats are on a 4-9 ATS slide at home. Edge: UCLA.

Oklahoma vs. Texas: The Longhorns have covered four straight in the series and are 3-1 ATS this season. Edge: Texas.

Ohio State at Nebraska: The Buckeyes crushed the Cornhuskers 62-3 last season at Ohio Stadium. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is on a 6-3 ATS run in conference road games. Edge: Ohio State.

Brigham Young at Mississippi State: The Cougars are on a 0-7 ATS slide. The Bulldogs are on a 7-4 ATS run at Starkville, where they covered their first two this season as double-digit chalk. Edge: Mississippi State.

Auburn at Louisiana State: Auburn is on a 2-1 ATS uptick after a 0-8 ATS slide. LSU is on a 0-5 ATS skid at Baton Rouge. Edge: Auburn.

Washington at Arizona State: The Sun Devils have covered three of the past four in the series. The Huskies are on a 5-1 ATS run in Pac-12 road games and are 6-3 ATS in their past nine as visiting chalk. Edge: Washington.

Boise State at San Diego State: The Broncos are on a 13-6 ATS run on the road. The Aztecs are 4-7 ATS in their past 11 as home chalk. Edge: Boise State.
