Dallas Cowboys favored by 3 points over Arizona Cardinals for ‘MNF’

The Arizona Cardinals are 3-point home underdogs to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night in the final game of a surprising Week 3 in the NFL that saw underdogs cash at a 12-3 clip against the spread and win eight games outright.

Dallas, coming off a 42-17 loss at Denver, opened as a 3½-point favorite but has held steady as a 3-point favorite for most of the week.

“We’re going to need the ’dog,” William Hill sports book director Nick Bogdanovich said. “There’s more money to the Cowboys, but it’s not a big decision right now.”

The total is 47. Overs are 11-4 this week in the NFL.

“There’s typical over money. Nothing earth shattering,” Bogdanovich said.

The Cardinals (1-1 straight up and 0-2 ATS) are coming off a 16-13 win over the Colts in which they erased an early 10-0 deficit.

Arizona, playing its home opener, is a home underdog for the first time since 2014. The home team is 8-2 ATS in the past 10 meetings with Dallas.

“The ’dog’s live,” Bogdanovich said.

The under is 10-2 in the Cardinals’ past 12 home games and 11-3 in the Cowboys’ past 14 road games.
