3 Brannaman – Tactical speed to sit a good trip; Martin Garcia is still smiling from winning the Pacific Classic.

2 Stormin Lute – Midnight Lute is some sire; Peter Miller claimed him from Bob Baffert off a maiden win, protected today.

Long Shot – 6 Turn On The Brites

Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds

7 Kristo – Well regarded baby should show love at the windows; suspect 5/2 morning line is strictly a pipe dream.

5 Roundupthelute – Another Midnight Lute for Bob Baffert; this one has been working fast, what a shock.

Long Shot – 9 Papa Turf

Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Claiming $8,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Peacenik – When in doubt go with Mike Mitchell; tactical speed to sit a nice trip throughout.

7 Private Bounty – Ran well in last first off the claim by Dallas Keen; big class drop means he won’t be taking him home.

Long Shot – 8 Marine Fog

Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $75,000, Maiden special weights, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

4 Bro’s Bro – Expect speedball tactics under Gary Stevens; having a terrific meet winning at 25 percent.

9 Dreamnofatticus – Tepid chalk in another difficult heat; would not be surprised to see the pick 6 carryover.

Long Shot – 3 Glitter of Silver

Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $38,000, Claiming $20,000, 3-year-olds and up

3 Magic Beam – Sharp winner of last at 10/1 odds; this is an impossible race and leg 1 of the Twin Quinella.

4 Street Car – Had a tough trip in last; got off poorly, moved forward into contention but ran out of gas late.

Long Shot – 1 Truelee Scrappin

Race 6 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 14 feet), Purse $77,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up

8 Hotradamus – Chance for a small upset with Garrett Gomez up; he’s making Barry Abrams horses live with solid rides.

7 Turn On The Pumps – Trainer Jerry Quinn is the assistant to Carla Gaines; she’s getting a paid vacation, called a suspension.

Long Shot – 10 Keep Movin’

Race 7 – 6 furlongs, $150,000 Generous Portion, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds

2 Sunday Rules – Monster win in debut for Mike Mitchell; she looks like the real deal, first tackling a Cal-bred stakes.

4 Moving Desert – 4-for-4 in the money for Blake Heap; has speed to lead or follow close up.

Long Shot – 3 Whatsallthedrama

Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $25,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

9 Magic Number – Ran OK last time in class drop to this bottom rung; need not be much to beat this slowpoke field.

6 Make More Money – Tepid chalk is a ship and win candidate; these horses have been winning at a profitable level.
