3 Home Made Brownie – If you follow my picks, you know how much I like cutback horses; class drop helps too.
1 Galehorn – Should save every inch of ground tonight; ran big last time and is capable of better tonight.
Long Shot – 6 Here Comes Bobbie
Race 3 – 1 1/8th miles, $200,000 Native Diver, 3-year-olds and up
3 Blue Tone – Chance to sit a stalking trip and grind it out late; key mark is 4-for-6 wins over synthetics.
1 Big Cazanova – Speedball has wilted his last two over dirt; returns to synthetics where he is undefeated.
Long Shot – 5 Avanzare
Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles (turf), Purse $56,000, Maiden special weights, 2-year-olds
3 Grand Sky – Was well bet in grass debut and closed spectacularly; among many with a big shot in here.
9 Bolo – Another who ran greenly early, then closed like a cannon shot late; toughest race on the card today.
Long Shot – 11 Film Freak
Race 5 – 1 mile, Purse $19,000, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds and up
10 Counting Days – Hard fought second last time in a near wire to wire win; was shadowed the entire trip.
5 Fonz – Stretched out nicely in last to put up a good fight; like that Rafael Bejarano remains loyal.
Long Shot – 4 Cacau
Race 6 – 1 mile (turf), $150,000 Jimmy Durante, Fillies, 2-year-olds
2 Rainha Da Bateria – Never had a chance in the BC Juvenile Fillies; she fits better in this softer spot.
7 Bobbi Grace – Ran creditably in her U.S. debut; chased two good ones in Her Emmynency and She’s Complete.
Long Shot – 9 Jaded Glory
Race 7 – 6 furlongs, Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
6 Room for Me – If you read my comments you know I like cutback horses; this one has won over synthetics.
4 Mum’s Truckee – Would rank higher but synthetic mark is 0-for-7 lifetime; still is a fast foe in here.
Long Shot – 8 Oscillator
Race 8 – 1 1/8th miles (turf), $300,000 Hollywood Derby, 3-year-olds
5 California Chrome – Love watching a race where everything is on the line; turf debut is the great unknown.
2 Lexie Lou – She was pointed for this spot, but got the surprise of her life; a really quality turf horse.

4 Dad’s Princess – She has more talent than she’s show so far; her synthetic races were by far her best.
