Race 2 - 1 1/8th miles (turf), Purse $58,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

4 Miss Boom Boom - Was overmatched last out in the grade 3 Providencia; these are her friends and she’ll be tough.

5 Nickels Wild - Grinder has a way of cashing paychecks on turf without winning; always up for minor awards.

Long Shot - 3 Hug and a Kiss

Race 3 - 1 mile, Purse $30,000, Starter allowance $40,000, 3-year-olds and up

1 Northern Iowa - I like horses that draw the rail in mile races, turf or dirt; shortest way home from there.

6 Saint Dermot - Trainer Michael McCarthy is a disciple of Todd Pletcher; value without Rafael Bejarano.

1 Haaay Sexy Lady - Name comes from the summer hit Gangnam Style; speed and the rail are a winning recipe.

10 Positivo - Taking a steep class drop, that alone give her a big chance tonight; should show more speed.

Long Shot - 2 Midnight Dime

Race 5 - 6 1/2 furlongs (turf), $75,000 Desert Code, 3-year-olds

3 Bench Warrant - He excels at these smaller ungraded stakes; he is 2-for-2 wins down the hill, loves it.

6 Richard’s Boy - He won his lone start down the hillside for Peter Miller; top barn should improve him today.

Long Shot - 1 Diamond Majesty

Race 6 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $16,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds and up

8 I Rock the Party - Molly Pearson is a good trainer who can ship up to SoCal and win; well spotted for victory.

1 Good Samurai - Been away a full year, is sliding down the claiming ladder; speed and the rail once again.

Long Shot -10 Sidepocket Champ

9 Motown Men - Looked like a different animal in last off the claim by Ted West; let’s see if he can repeat.

5 Catch a Flight - Got black type in the grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap; non-threatening third to Shared Belief.

8 Pay the Fine - Did not embarrass himself as a maiden in a stakes last time; returns to face his friends.

7 Unusualy - Turf debut was like the difference between day and night; double tough with one step improvement.
