Bryce Harper just became a meme by not knowing how to pronounce ‘memes’

Newly crowned NL MVP Bryce Harper joined Scott Van Pelt on Thursday night’s SportsCenter for your run-of-the-mill MVP interview, but it didn’t exactly go that way.

The interview unfolded as expected until the follicly-challenged ESPN host asked the former Vegas High and CSN slugger about giving up his highly groomed coif.

“Would you rather be as bald as I am for the rest of your life or never have a season again where you have double-digit home runs?” Van Pelt asked.

“I don’t even want to answer that right now because I know how many meh-mehs are going to be out there of me with a bald head,” answered Harper.

Uh … Bryce? There are going to be some “meh-mehs” out there of you, but they won’t be about your bald head.

Take it away, Twitter.
