Centennial tops Arbor View in boys volleyball

Spencer Olsen had 30 kills Friday to lead Centennial’s boys volleyball team to a 23-25, 33-31, 25-18, 25-22 win at Arbor View.

Drew Smith added 16 kills and Jeff Mecham 60 assists for the Bulldogs.

Matt Ward had 48 assists, Zac Reese 17 kills, Ray Lewis 10 kills and two blocks and Michael Cable eight kills and five blocks for the Aggies.

Palo Verde 3, Legacy 0– At Legacy, Clayton Worthen had seven aces and five kills to lead the Panthers to a 25-20, 25-12, 25-13 victory.

Adam Nieman added 11 assists and six aces for the Panthers.

Benjamin Noel had four kills and Steven Leavitt seven assists for the Longhorns.

Shadow Ridge 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Preston Simper had 14 blocks and eight kills as Shadow Ridge downed the Spartans 25-19, 25-17, 25-13.

Jake Shea had 18 assists and 10 kills and Greg Smith seven blocks and seven kills for the Mustangs.

Triton Manumaleuna had eight digs, four blocks and three kills, Taylor Sorenson 17 assists and six digs and Scott Beckwith five kills and five digs for Cimarron.

Mojave 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Alex Montgomery had 30 kills and four blocks to lead Mojave to a 25-12, 26-24, 22-25, 25-13 win over the Desert Shields.

Tony Vaz added 42 assists, five aces and four blocks, Nick McCurry 10 kills, 13 blocks and three aces and Alan Justo 10 kills for the Rattlers.

Irvin Leu had six kills and seven assists and Jeff Lytle four kills and 13 assists for Cheyenne.

Green Valley 3, Silverado 0 — At Silverado, Taylor Mitchell had 28 assists and Cameron Olsen 10 kills to lead the Gators over the Skyhawks 25-19, 25-23, 25-22.

Jaime Ocampo had five kills and three blocks and Chris Mortensen eight kills for Green Valley.

Talon Goon had 13 digs and five aces, Preston Clipper eight blocks and two kills and Brayden Olenslager seven kills and six blocks for Silverado.

Tech 3, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Antonio Garcia had 12 kills, nine digs and three blocks to help the Roadrunners beat the Patriots 25-13, 25-23, 28-26.

Johnny Wyrick added 10 kills, five aces and three blocks and Cesar Fontanelli 20 assists for Tech.

Paul Acluba had 25 assists for Liberty.
