Gator Retreat Delayed

DALLAS-With Florida’s upset loss and surprise Saturday exit from the Final Four, the sea of Gators fans who filled up AT&T Stadium will likely be headed home early.

There’s no need to stick around for Monday’s championship game, so most of them are likely to sell their tickets and check out of their hotels.

Unfortunately, they may be stuck inside the monstrous stadium in Arlington for the time being.

Severe weather in the area, which includes hail and lightning, has prompted a warning to fans to stay in the arena until conditions clear.

Talk about adding insult to injury.

To make matters worse, there is no alcohol being sold at the concession stands because it is an NCAA event.
