■ BOULDER CITY — Baseball player Nick Morelli went 3-for-6 with two doubles, a triple, four runs and three RBIs in a sweep of Moapa Valley.
■ CANYON SPRINGS — Boys track athlete Donnel Pumphrey took first place in the 100-meter dash, the 200 and two relays at the Sunrise Region Freshman-Sophomore Meet. Softball player Ali Givens raised her batting average to .290.
■ CENTENNIAL — Boys swimmer Thomas Farrell won the 100-yard freestyle in 56.93 seconds against Canyon Springs.
■ CHAPARRAL — Baseball player Jordan January tossed a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts in a 3-1 win over Desert Pines.
■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Baseball player Cody Clark was 2-for-4 with a double in a 10-6 win over Palo Verde and then fired a complete game with five strikeouts in a 3-2 victory over Centennial. Girls track athlete Chalon Henderson took second in the 300-meter hurdles and the long jump at the Sunset Region Freshman-Sophomore Meet.
■ CLARK — Boys volleyball player David Samson totaled 68 assists, 15 kills and 11 digs in two matches.
■ CORONADO — Baseball player Dillon Fahr went 8-for-11 with five runs, two RBIs and four stolen bases in three games.
■ DESERT OASIS — Baseball player Cody Schmidt was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs, two runs and two stolen bases in a 12-3 win over Bonanza. Softball player Briona Santovito hit .450 with eight RBIs and three runs in three games.
■ DURANGO — Girls track athlete Tiarra Beville was named Athlete of the Meet after winning the long jump, the triple jump and the high jump at The Meadows Invitational.
■ FAITH LUTHERAN — Softball player Maya Barnes went 9-for-13 with three doubles, a home run, a triple, 11 RBIs and two stolen bases in three games.
■ GREEN VALLEY — Boys track athlete Matt Nelson won the 300-meter hurdles in 41.84 seconds at the Sunrise Region Freshman-Sophomore Meet. Girls track athlete Rachel Buck took the pole vault at 8 feet at the same meet.
■ THE MEADOWS — Baseball player Garrett Gosse struck out seven in five innings and hit a home run in an 18-4 win at Laughlin.
■ MOUNTAIN VIEW — Baseball player T.J. Engel went 6-for-8 with three doubles and six RBIs in a sweep of Lake Mead. Softball player Tayler Nelson was 7-for-8 in a split against Lake Mead and 6-for-9 with eight RBIs in a sweep of Laughlin.
■ PALO VERDE — Boys diver Dalton Rios took first place in a 209-67 win over Shadow Ridge. Girls swimmer Kim Coombs won the 500-yard freestyle in 5 minutes, 32.46 seconds and was on three winning relay teams in a 208-83 victory over Shadow Ridge.
■ SIERRA VISTA — Baseball player Dusty Stevens pitched a six-inning three-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk in a 15-1 win at Spring Valley.

ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
The senior pitched seven scoreless innings of relief and hit the game-winning home run in the bottom of the 14th inning in the Trailblazers’ 3-2 home victory over Spring Valley. Morris allowed two hits and struck out eight. He also hit a tying home run in the eighth inning.
The senior outfielder was 6-for-9 with two doubles, a triple, a home run, four RBIs and five runs in the Cougars’ wins over Liberty, Green Valley and Foothill.
