■ ARBOR VIEW – Girls track athlete Victoria Stoddard finished second in the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 34.5 seconds against Palo Verde. Boys track athlete Cameron Scott took second in the 300 hurdles against Palo Verde in 41.3 seconds.

■ CIMARRON-MEMORIAL – Softball player Sabrina Chavez was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against Arbor View and 3-for-4 with an RBI against Palo Verde. Boys swimmer Douglas Vanderhyde won the 50- and 200-yard freestyle against Faith Lutheran.

■ CORONADO – Girls swimmer Nicole Mertel won the 50- and 100-yard freestyle and was on the winning 200 medley relay. Boys track athlete Blake Wisner won the 110 and 300 hurdles at a three-team meet.

■ DESERT OASIS – Girls swimmer Allison Lubsey posted a Sunset Region qualifying time of 2 minutes, 28.25 seconds in the 200-yard freestyle. Boys volleyball player Richie Peterson had nine kills and five digs in a 3-2 loss to Bishop Gorman.

■ DURANGO – Boys track athlete Marcus Sanders-Williams won the 200 meters in 22.95 seconds and was second in the 100 in 11.78 at The Meadows Invitational.

■ FAITH LUTHERAN – Softball player Vanessa Valdez went 6-for-9 with a double, three runs and an RBI in three games.

■ LAUGHLIN – Boys track athlete Thomas Jobe won the long jump at 20 feet, 4 inches at The Meadows Invitational.

■ THE MEADOWS – Girls track athlete Lauren Henry won the 100 and 200 meters at The Meadows Invitational.

■ MOUNTAIN VIEW – Softball player Savannah Alley had five hits, six runs, two stolen bases, eight RBIs and three home runs in games against Lake Mead and The Meadows. Baseball player Trevor Van Kempen was 4-for-5 with a home run, double and five RBIs against Lake Mead.

■ SHADOW RIDGE – Baseball player Josh Roelofs went 4-for-9 with four runs and two RBIs over a 2-1 stretch.

■ SILVERADO – Baseball player Mike Meyers was 6-for-8 with a triple, two home runs, six runs and five RBIs in two league wins. Softball player Taylee Heckman had a home run and allowed two runs and struck out six in six innings of relief in a 6-4 victory over Tech.
