Spot the Diplomat – Showed immediate improvement off the claim by Jeff Mullins; grinder figures to be right there again.

Lordgivemealift – Speedball was claimed off a win at Golden Gate and shipped south; has won in SoCal more than once.

Vikkilee – Key for me is Rafael Bejarano had choices and opted to ride for Vladimr Cerin; won only start down the hill.
