Uncle Don – Has exploded with 2 straight convincing wins; 5-YO has gotten better and better with each start.
Scofield Barracks – Dead late closer didn’t run his best in last despite a quick pace; his race two back was much better.
Long Shot – Reagan Republican
Race 3 – 7 1/2 furlongs, $150,000 B Thoughtful, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
U R All That I Am – Just missed last time in a monster try; was flattered when Unzip Me won next out.
Lady Alex – Lost all chance at the start in last, so draw a line thru the race in the DRF; reunited with Rafael Bejarano.
Long Shot – Witchy Meeting
Race 4 – 1 1/16th miles, $150,000 Melair, Cal-breds, Fillies, 3-year-olds
La Nez – Could see a positive pace scenario with lots of speed to her outside; she is a very fast finisher.
Camille C – Third start off a 2-month hiatus; gets class relief from the grade 2 Providencia for this Cal-bred stakes.
Long Shot – Blind Optimism
Race 5 – 6 furlongs (turf, rail at 15 feet), Purse $29,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Carnival Queen – Last time she ran for this $25K price tag, she won; dead late closer will be firing fast late.
Squeeze Me Tight – Positive form cycle in third start off a 9-month hiatus; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Long Shot – Yasinisi
Race 6 – 1 1/8th miles, $200,000 Snow Chief, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds
Alphie’s Bet – Big class relief dropping from the Santa Anita Derby to this; has far exceeded his modest pedigree.
Self Made – John Sadler colt is 2-for-2 lifetime with a high ceiling; this is a good test for class versus state-breds.

A Clever Ten – Has had some tough trips of late; Joel Rosario takes over, can surprise with better racing luck.
Excellent News – Speedball might be able to clear this bunch; short horse in last off a 4-month hiatus.

Ron Bob and Dave – Second start off a 4-month hiatus; good tactical speed and figures to be a lot tighter.
Noblety – Had an enormous winter sprinting down the hillside turf course; solid claim for Doug O’Neill.
Long Shot – On the Virg

Bestdressed – Dead late closer ran well in the San Carlos facing tougher; if he gets some pace, he’ll chase.
Liberian Freighter – The one who can steal this on the front end; flattered by next out winners Compari and Enriched.

Intuitive Nature – Just missed last time in a 5-pack field; always wary of one number babies hoping the move forward.
