4 Hey Paulie – Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; first time gelding too.

2 Sunny Superstition – Tepid chalk was favored in his debut; ran evenly for third chasing a daylight victor.

Long Shot – 1 Nebikon

Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $33,000, Maiden claiming $50,000, 3-year-olds and up

5 Meadow Road – Sliding down the maiden claiming ladder; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.

6 Spurr Road – FTS from the meet leading Bob Baffert barn; as with most stable babies, he is working fast.

Long Shot – 1 Green Cat

Race 3 – 1 1/4 miles (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $57,200, 3-year-olds and up

3 Power Series – Class relief and first time gelding are two positive moves; really is turning back in distance.

7 Red Alert Day – Another getting class relief, from a grade 1 to this; John Sadler puts a $40k price tag on him.

Long Shot – 4 Tippety Tap Tap

Race 4 – 6 furlongs, Purse $28,600, Claiming $16,000, 3-year-olds

3 Dime – Doug O’Neill has thrown in the towel and puts him up for $16k; thought he had claimed a whole lot better.

5 Gutshot Straight – Peter Miller excels over his home Hollywood track; sharp maiden win, looks like more in the tank.

Long Shot – 6 Kalyra Cat

Race 5 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $27,500, Claiming $25,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Hot Ticket – Claimed by Doug O’neill off a good second; this field may be weaker than she faced in last.

2 Dubai Perfecto – Respect Steve Miyadi shipping down from NoCal; need not be much to compete with these gals.

Long Shot – 4 Bella Giornatta.

Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $55,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 2-year-olds

3 Candrea – Another FTS on the card for Bob Baffert; this one also exits a bullet work, watch the tote for clues.

1 Made to Love Her – Jim Kasparoff barn isn’t known for winning first out; key is the rail post and exiting a bullet work.

Long Shot – 11 Wild Truffles

Race 7 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 10 feet), Purse $57,200, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Caitie’s Secret – Speed and the rail, which is out 10 feet today; may be able to control things from the inside.

3 All Star Heart – Slipped and fell in last while making a nice move; figures to be overlooked due to the trouble line.

Long Shot – 6 Camille C

Race 8 – 1 1/16th miles, Purse $18,700, Claiming $8,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up

1 Rollerskates – Jeff Mullins is shoving this gal down our throats; she keeps winning, he keeps dropping in class.

6 Stunningly – Dead late closer was a stride late in last; she has the back class to move forward a step or two.

Long Shot – 8 Merrytagio
