TODAY AT HOLLYWOOD PARK

Post Time 1:20 p.m.
Race 1 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Claiming $10,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Jazzerin - Taking a small, but significant, class drop to face these; was able to sit closer to the pace last time out.
Lady Disdain - I like horses turning back in distance like this mare; she figures to settle and find her best stride late.
Long Shot - Smooch
Race 2 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Salah Mrs. D - Been away 16-months, but has a better resume than any filly in the field; only question is if she's ready.
My Sister Laureen - Distant second last time to a 9-length winner; bugboy Martinez figures to sit a trip and grind late.
Long Shot - Heavenly n' Free
Race 3 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Tizsong - He will try and pop the gate and play catch me if you can; Tyler Baze will go as fast and as far as he can.
Texas Devil - Good second in last, now taking a small, but significant, drop in class; will stalk close up and grind late.
Long Shot - Otisisgold
Race 4 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $17,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up
Gary's Got Rhythm - Question is if he can repeat his last race, easily fast enough to beat these; cheap horses seldom repeat.
Norway House - He is extremely consistent for a bottom level claimer; old guy has been in the money in 25-of-43 career starts.
Long Shot - Clarence Beeks
Race 5 - 1 1/16th miles, Purse $53,000, Optional claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Chelcee's Hope - Favored because Mike Mitchell switches to the main man Rafael Bejarano; she's not as clear cut as that.
Shebang - She is stretching back out around 2-turns for the first time in a while; Solis will be forwardly placed throughout.
Long Shot - Sangay
Race 6 - 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Warren's R Ready - Ran a winning race in last for this low class level; note that she was 2-lengths clear of the third horse.
Heaven Tonight - Taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming; exits a bullet work and gets Espinoza.
Long Shot - High Performance
Race 7 - 6 furlongs, Purse $34,000, Claiming $40,000, 4-year-olds and up
Wheaton Hall - He is a feisty sort who is distance challenged; however, at this $40k claiming price and 6-furlongs, he fits.
Make Mine Vodka - Closed fast and strong to win at 16/1 odds last time; will see plenty of early speed again to flatter him.
Long Shot - Rudeameanie
Race 8 - 1 mile (turf), $100,000 Flawlessly, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Starry Pursuit - Let's take a shot at an upsetter stretching out in distance; expect Joel Rosario to take back for one run.
Lethal Heat - Logical chalk facing a lot of up and comers tonight; she fought hard to win last time in a slow paced stakes.
Long Shot - Sweeter Still
Race 9 - 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Happy Prayer - Draw a line thru the last lousy finishh he was eased in the stretch; turns back in distance, expect better.
King Kang - The less starts the better at this drastic bargain basement price; Ted West adds blinkers on for this challenge.
Long Shot - Arabian Storm
Best Bet - Warren's R Ready (race 6)
