Post Time 1:20 p.m.
Race 1 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $41,000, Claiming $62,500, 3-year-olds
Suit Yourself – This is a rematch among three of these starters; had the toughest trip in last, Bejarano remains loyal.
South Bay Scoty – Minor upset beating many of these last time out; Talamo will take back and try to rally from the clouds.
Long Shot – Professnl Courtesy
Race 2 – 7 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Sir Carson – Second start off a 2-month hiatus; tactical speed to sit a trip and try to grind it out late.
Red Ticket – Ran evenly around 2-turns last time; like the turn back in distance where she should be finishing well.
Long Shot – Quarter Moon
Race 3 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $40,000, Cal-breds, Fillies, 2-year-olds
Golden Rocketship – Justed missed in last, finished 6-lengths clear of third; a repeat effort is enough to beat these.
Chatty Lulu – Walther Solis adding blinkers on which is meant to sharpen her early speed; competitive at this low level.
Long Shot – Legacy North
Race 4 – 6 1/2 furlongs, Purse $14,000, Claiming $10,000, 4-year-olds and up
Bewitching Bartok – Making his third start off a 2-month hiatus; consistent sort has been a steady check casher for Koriner.
Strength – Third start off a 7-month hiatus could show improvement; tactical speed to sit a trip and grind it out late.
Long Shot – Tracker Jack
Race 5 – 1 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $53,000, Allowance, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Brian the Bold – Has lacked a killer instinct late, but continues to run well; sometimes you just inherit the lead late.
Anzisong – Speedball has the advantage that few in here really want to pass anyone; goes as fast and as far as he can.
Long Shot – Dr Zaentz
Race 6 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $18,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Ata Honour – Favorite picks up Garrett Gomez for clever trainer Burnison; takes the blinkers off, Gomez sits and fires late.
Alotta Wild – Last two races have been ridiculously bad; she’s better than that in facing the weakest field of her career.
Long Shot – Gabby’s Hen
Race 7 – 1/16th miles (turf, rail at 20 feet), Purse $61,000, Optional claiming $100,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Tutta Bella – Should be able to sit a perfect trip if Moujane leaves as expected; proved she can win without the early lead.
Gula Gold – If the first two duel and go a wee bit too fast, Bejarano will take advantage; riding for the maestro Hollendorfer.
Long Shot – Persian Express
Race 8 – 7 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Warren’s Jack V. – Just missed twice againt tougher than these; if he doesn’t graduate today, he may need to go to the Fairs.
Brite Ruler – After some of the great Inglewood cards we’ve seen lately, you knew this was going to happen; best of the rest.
Long Shot – High State
Best Bet – Golden Rocketship (race 3)
Hollywood Sunday- Picks/Winners/Mutuels, 18/4/$23.8.00; Long Shots, 9/1/$9.80; Best Bet, 1/1/$3.20
