Post Time 1 p.m.
Race 1 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, 4-year-olds and up
Oceanography – Beaten favorite three straight races; he ran spotty in last, his best stride inside the final furlong.
Go All In – Will save all the ground inside for Espinoza; he is a grinder who doesn’t figure to change his stripes now.
Long Shot – Kalookan Boss
Race 2 – 6 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Claiming $62,500, Fillies, 3-year-olds
Sunset Tijuana – Favored over many of these in last and ran just awful; claimed by Mitchell, Gomez stays on, interesting.
Highland Torree – Sharp win in last, would not be shocked if she goes off as the favorite; best stride will come late.
Long Shot – Casino Kay
Race 3 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $48,000, Maiden special weights, Fillies, 3-year-olds
B R’s Girl – Was scratched Saturday to run in this softer spot; Pletcher adds blinkers on and Gomez remains loyal.
Great Thought – FTS from the Frankel barn, she is bred to run through a brick wall; like that he hires Bejarano.
Long Shot – Wicked Delight
Race 4 – 7 furlongs, Purse $22,000, Claiming $16,000, Fillies, 4-year-olds
Blushing Bear Cat – May have gotten to the lead too soon in last; Spawr slides her down in class another notch, tough here.
Stress Free – Claimed by one of the hottest barns at the meet, Gary Stute; he takes the blinkers off, she could wake up.
Long Shot – Toppers Moment
Race 5 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $38,000, Claiming $40,000, Fillies, 4-year-olds
Debie Ginsburg – She drops to the lowest class level of her career; this is also her first turf try, she’s a square price.
Foxy Games – Tepid chalk just failed to hold on in last for Paulo Lobo; has tactical speed aided by the turf rail out 30 feet.
Long Shot – Justice Is Brief
Race 6 – 6 furlongs, Purse $52,000, Optional claiming $32,000, Cal-breds, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up
Princess Amelie – She didn’t handle the turf too well last time; returns to Cushion Track-Pro Ride where she won her MSW.
River Glow – She’s been away 11-months, but Gaines does fine off a long layoff; Gomez climbs on board, sits for one run.
Long Shot – Monkey Face
Race 7 – 6 1/2 furlongs (turf, rail at 30 feet), Purse $52,000, Allowance, 4-year-olds and up
Faulkwood Shores – Speedball was claimed by Carava and protected in this allowance race; aided by the turf rail out 30 feet.
Congo King – Logical chalk ran over the top of the field down the hillside turf course in last; will see another quick pace.
Long Shot – Switzerland
Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, 3-year-olds
Benchmark Kid – Like the turn back in distance from an elongated sprint for this; flattered when Nitro Active won next out.
Syndicator – Claimed by John Sadler who hires the red-hot Bejarano to ride; was well bet in debut, could easily improve.
Long Shot – Ricky El Corredor
Best Bet – Benchmark Kid (race 8)
