Long Shot – Chalk Line

Race 2 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $28,000, Claiming $25,000, 4-year-olds and up

Exceeding – Just missed facing $40k and $50k toughies, gets big time class relief today; it’s his race to win or lose.

Forest Danz – Speedball figures to pop the gate and try serve the dessert early; simple speed tactics for Tyler Baze.

Long Shot – Watch Over Me

Race 3 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $50,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds

Victory Pete – He’s been chasing some good ones like Signature Move, Gayego and Hoods Up; good value in an easier spot.

Shem Tov – Had the lead down the hill last time and couldn’t hold it; will appreciate the much softer pace of this route.

Long Shot – Red Door Drive

Race 4 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $28,000, Claiming $25,000, Fillies, 4-year-olds

Shawklit Sundae – Took to Tapeta at Golden Gate like a duck to water; has enough back class where a repeat race is likely.

Adarlyn Cat – Fell apart last time when sitting too close to a sizzling pace; her race two back is fast enough to upset.

Long Shot – Too Phar

Race 5 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $17,000, Claiming $12,500, 4-year-olds and up

Zayed – Was dueled into submission last time in a suicide run; if Talamo takes back a little, the race will come to him.

Dark Past – Sharp win by the favorite last time for the now missing in action P Val; tactical speed to get involved early.

Long Shot – White Pine

Race 6 – 1 mile (turf, rail at 24 feet), Purse $41,000, Claiming $40,000, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

Roanaway Bride – Just missed two races ago in a similar spot; tactical speed for Gomez to put her wherever he wants.

Jambalaya Joy – Eastern invader has been running against some good company at Belmont; she could wake up at fair odds.

Long Shot – Power Du Jour

Race 7 – 1 mile, Purse $55,000, Allowance, Fillies and mares, 4-year-olds and up

Down – She may not look too fast, but she has chased good ones like Curiously Sweet and Zenyatta; will save all the ground.

Quite a Stormkat – With the turf rail out a maximum 24 feet, her speed could be a real asset; we’ll see how slow she can go.

Long Shot – Queens Full

Race 8 – 5 1/2 furlongs, Purse $20,000, Maiden claiming $32,000, Fillies, 3-year-olds

Madame Kiawah – Failed last time as a beaten favorite, Mullins takes the blinkers off; like that Gomez remains loyal.

Little Bug – Tepid chalk in a wide open race; taking the biggest class drop in racing from MSW to maiden claiming.

Long Shot – Renees Beauty
