■ NOTES: The first-place Locos will look to remain undefeated as they close out the first half of the United Football League season. ... The Las Vegas defense has been outstanding through three games, allowing one touchdown and limiting opponents to an average of 122 yards rushing per game. ... Locos quarterback Chase Clement is expected to start after injuring his left hand in the second quarter last week at Sacramento. Brian Brohm filled in admirably, passing for 177 yards and a touchdown in the 20-9 win over the Mountain Lions. ... The Nighthawks are one game behind Las Vegas after beating Virginia 38-10 on Friday. ... The Nighthawks and Locos met Oct. 3 at Sam Boyd Stadium, where the Locos' defense got touchdowns from cornerbacks Wale Dada and Jack Williams to fuel a 41-6 rout.
