Martin Laird wins Shriners Open in sudden-death playoff

Martin Laird of Scotland beat out George McNeill and former UNLV standout Chad Campbell to claim the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin today.
Laird won on the third playoff hole, making a 12-foot birdie putt on the par-4 18th after McNeill bogeyed the hole. Campbell was eliminated after the second playoff hole, the par-3 17th.
The victory, Laird's first on the PGA Tour, was worth $756,000.
