BOISE, Idaho – Tony Snell scored 22 points, and Hugh Greenwood added 15 to lead No. 19 New Mexico to a 79-74 overtime victory over Boise State on Wednesday night.
Snell and Greenwood dominated the overtime, teaming for nine of the Lobos’ 16 points. The win was the third straight for the Lobos (16-2, 3-0 Mountain West).
Derrick Marks scored 27 points on 10-for-20 shooting for Boise State (13-3, 1-1), which had its seven-game winning streak snapped.
■ Colorado State 79, Air Force 40 – At Fort Collins, Colo., Wes Eikmeier scored 14 of his 17 points in the second half to lead the Rams past the Falcons (9-6, 1-2).
Colton Iverson added 15 points and seven rebounds for Colorado State (14-3, 1-1), which extended its home winning streak to a school-record 23 games.
■ Fresno State 49, Wyoming 36 – At Fresno, Calif., Tyler Johnson scored 18 points, Tanner Giddings added 10 off the bench, and the Bulldogs (7-9, 1-2) held the Cowboys to 24 percent shooting.
Riley Grabau and Larry Nance Jr. led Wyoming (14-2, 1-2) with 10 points apiece.
