Park two off lead in LPGA tourney

IRVING, Texas — Carlota Ciganda shot a 5-under 66 on Saturday to take a two-stroke lead over top-ranked Inbee Park and a tour rookie into the final round of the North Texas LPGA Shootout.

Ciganda, from Spain, had only one bogey in the third round and was at 11-under 202 after her second 66 of the week.

Park, a South Korean who won Nevada state championships at Bishop Gorman in 2004 and 2005, finished her 67 with consecutive birdies. Rookie Caroline Masson, the leader after each of the first two rounds, recovered from an opening double bogey for a 69.

Na Yeon Choi, the No. 3-ranked player, was 8 under after a bogey-free 66.

■ PGA TOUR — At Avondale, La., Lucas Glover increased his lead to two strokes in the Zurich Classic to stay in position for his first victory in two years.

The 2009 U.S. Open winner shot a 2-under 70 to reach 14-under 202 at TPC Louisiana. Kyle Stanley, Jimmy Walker, Billy Horschel and D.A. Points were tied for second. Stanley had a 65, Walker and Horschel shot 66, and Points had a 70.

■ CHAMPIONS — At Savannah, Ga., Roger Chapman and Jay Don Blake teamed to shoot an 11-under 61 to take a one-stroke lead at 17 under in the Legends of Golf better-ball tournament. Five groups are tied for second place.
