Stunt rider surfs wave on a dirt bike — VIDEO
Off-roading. Surfing. What's the difference? An Australian daredevil combined the two adrenaline-based sports and accomplished a stunt like no other — he surfed a wave on a dirt bike.
DC Shoes shared the video of Robbie Maddison's stunt on Sunday titled "Pipe Dream." The video shows Maddison riding the modified dirt bike across water, past boaters and even in a massive wave on the Pacific Ocean near French Polynesia.
"At the end of the day, the images and footage say something pretty awesome, but the ferocity and how gnarly that thing was can’t really be put into words," Maddison told Surfer Magazine.
In case his name sounds familiar, it's because he's also the guy who jumped the Arc de Triomphe replica at the Paris hotel-casino in 2008..
