■ HIGHLIGHTS: At Cashman Field, Carlos Peguero homered, doubled and had five RBIs for Pacific Coast League-leading Tacoma (39-26), which took a 9-2 lead en route to its seventh win in nine games this season against the 51s (33-29). … Andrew Brown belted two home runs for Las Vegas and narrowly missed hitting his third on an eighth-inning RBI triple, which hit high off the wall in center field. … Wilmer Flores also homered for the 51s in the opener of their eight-game homestand. … First baseman Ike Davis, outfielder Mike Baxter and left-handed pitcher Robert Carson are expected to join Las Vegas today after getting optioned Sunday by the New York Mets.
