Twitter attacks British journalist over deflated footballs

Here’s a story, of a man named (Tom) Bradby, who was busy with a life of his own. Till the one day when Bradby met this fellow (named Tom Brady), and he knew it was much more than a hunch, that this group (on social media) would somehow form a feeding frenzy. That’s the way Bradby became the equivalent of Twitter brunch.

In a case of mistaken identity, Bradby, a British political reporter, has been inundated with insults aimed at the Patriots quarterback since Brady was suspended by the NFL.

“The funny thing is I do sometimes genuinely puzzle now over whether the abuse is actually intended for me or for Tom Brady,” wrote Bradby, who made light of the situation in a series of tweets. “On and on it goes. Hundreds of abusive tweets about some bloody ball I deflated. So just regular political abuse is a bit of a relief.

“On the plus side of Bradygate, have never — ever — been called a dreamboat before .. .”

So he’s got that going for him. Which is nice.
