UNLV SIGNS HOME-AND-HOME DEAL WITH UCLA
UNLV signed a home-and-home contract to play UCLA in football for the first time ever.
The schools will meet Sept. 12, 2015 at Sam Boyd Stadium, and Sept. 10, 2016 at UCLA's home field in the Rose Bowl.
UNLV is scheduled to play Pacific-10 Conference schools seven of the next eight seasons. The exception is 2010 when Wisconsin from the Big Ten Conference visits. In addition to UCLA, future Pac-10 opponents include Arizona, Oregon State and Washington State.
Rebels athletic director Mike Hamrick said it was important to play "quality non-conference schools from the same region."
