Junior forward Roscoe Smith, UNLV’s leading rebounder, suffered a concussion Saturday and has been ruled out for Wednesday’s home game against San Diego State.
Smith recorded 10 points and eight rebounds in the Rebels’ 93-67 victory at Air Force. He left the game with about seven minutes remaining after taking a hit to the head and vomiting.
“Roscoe was evaluated (Sunday) and was determined to have a concussion,” coach Dave Rice said. “He will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.”
Smith has started all 29 games and averages 11.0 points and 11.0 rebounds.
