Watch NBA players read mean tweets about themselves — VIDEO

With the NBA Finals underway, the postgame show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” recently featured a “Mean Tweets” segment in which a plethora of NBA players and announcers read mean tweets about themselves, including “Jimmy Butler look so ugly bruh look like a face you put on a totem pole bruh lookin like a tiki mask bruh.”

After reading, “Imagine the damage Steph Curry would be doing in the NBA if he didn’t have such a girly name #ChangeItToSteve,” Curry joked, “Steve’s a terrible name. Oh, shoot, that’s my coach’s name.”

Most participants took the insults in stride. “Draymond Green look like donkey from Shrek,” the Warriors forward said before bursting into laughter.

“Yoooooooo, Jeff Van Gundy a fool lol,” Van Gundy read before agreeing, “I is.”

Blake Griffin brushed off, “GOOD BYE BLAKE GRIFFIN YOU SOFT GINGER HAIR COLORED LINDSEY LOHAN FRECKLED FACE TWO HEADED (EXPLETIVE) TAKE YA (EXPLETIVE) HOME (EXPLETIVE),” by saying, “Wow, all caps, huh? Maybe throw in some lower case next time.”

Some players feigned outrage, including Deandre Jordan, who someone posted “look like that uncle at a cookout that stick his fork in ya plate,” to which Jordan replied, “Well, I think that sharing is caring so (expletive) you.”

Magic Johnson, Tony Parker and others also took part in the segment.
