Wranglers loan Jeff May to AHL’s Stars
The Wranglers loaned defenseman Jeff May to the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars on Friday.
The 26-year-old had seven goals and seven assists in 21 games for Las Vegas. He is tied for first among ECHL defensemen in goals.
Playing without May for the first time this season, the Wranglers lost to the Colorado Eagles 4-1 Friday in Loveland. Las Vegas fell behind 2-0 in the second period before a power-play goal by Matt Tassone cut the deficit in half. But Colorado scored twice in the third period to drop the Wranglers to 8-13-1.
