Man gives shirtless stranger shirt off his back on subway — VIDEO

A New York City man literally gave the shirt off his back and gave it to a shivering stranger on the subway, according to the Huffington Post.

The video, posted on a "Viral NYC" Facebook page with credit to Lazaro Nolasco, shows a shirtless man sitting alone on a Brooklyn-bound subway, visibly cold, when another passenger stepped forward and offered him his shirt.

After giving him the shirt, the man, who now only had a tanktop on, is also seen placing a beanie on the man's head.

Nolasco told Huffington Post the shirtless man had looked sick and he heard the other man ask him if he would like to go to the hospital. He said he didn't know what became of the two men after he got off the train.

Temperatures outside in New York City that day had dipped to about 45 degrees, Nolasco said.
