1,000 Musicians ask Foo Fighters to visit and succeed — VIDEO

Passionate music-lovers would do just about anything for their favorite bands, but these lovers take the cake.

A thousand musicians came together in the town of Cesena, Italy to cover "Learn to Fly" by the Foo Figthers. Yup. A thousand.

It's impressively good, considering just how many people needed to be in sync to pull it off. The video ends with the organizer pleading for the Foo Fighters to come and play for them.

And it WORKED. Dave Grohl posted a video a day later: speaking Italian.

Facebook user, Jade Rose Faugno, was nice enough to translate what Dave says in the comments of the video:

"Hi, Cesena! I am David, hello. I'm sorry, I don't speak Italian. Only a little, a little. That video - but how beautiful! Very beautiful. Thank you very much [literally: a thousand thanks]. We are arriving [coming], I promise. We'll see each other soon. Thank you very much. I love you. Bye."

No surprise at all, Dave's response was met with excitment and praise, and affirmed his title as "the nicest guy in rock."
