Cannery announces dining specials

Restaurants at the Cannery, 2121 E. Craig Road, plan to serve dining specials during April.

The Cannery Row Buffet is set to serve an Easter brunch from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday for $14.99 for adults and $10.99 for children, featuring maple- and beer-braised pork loin, seafood thermidor, salmon Milano, veal stew, penne pasta with shrimp scampi, New York steak, oysters on the half shell, cocktail shrimp, prime rib, roast leg of lamb and ham.

Victory’s Cafe is offering a steak and shrimp special for $9.99 with an 8-ounce New York steak, deep-fried shrimp, potato, vegetables and soup or salad. The Easter Day special will be served from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and will have honey ham with bourbon sauce, chef’s potato and vegetable and soup or salad.

Waverly’s Steak House is offering Wine Wednesdays with 50 percent off any bottle of wine with the purchase of two entrees. A four-course dining special has shrimp cocktail appetizer, house salad, prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, Savoyard potatoes, creamed spinach, assorted bread basket and chocolate mousse for $25.99 and is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Happy hour is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday with special appetizers and half-price martinis.

Vino’s Ristorante is offering an Easter menu with chicken Salerino (pan-seared chicken breast with pancetta, tomato, green onion and red wine butter sauce topped with Fontina cheese) served with zucchini fritter and risotto for $14.99 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Springs Cafe plans Easter brunch

The Springs Cafe at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd., plans to host an Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The cost is $29.95 for adults, $12.50 for children ages 4 to 12 and free for children 3 or younger.

Ceres to host Easter brunch

Ceres at the JW Marriott, 221 N. Rampart Blvd., plans to host an Easter brunch Sunday with seatings at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Easter egg hunts are planned for 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos. Face painting and balloon art also are planned for children.

The brunch menu is set to feature pastries, salads, seasonal fruit, seafood, antipasti, charcuterie with omelette and meat carving stations and desserts.

The cost is $52 for adults and $24 for children ages 4 to 12.

Suncoast announces Easter specials

The St. Tropez Buffet at the Suncoast, 9090 Alta Drive, plans to serve Easter specials from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday for $18.99 or $16.99 for B Connected card members (up to four guests per card).

The carving station will have prime rib, turkey and honey ham.

Café Siena plans to serve specials from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. An Easter meal will be $16.95 and has choice of cream of asparagus soup or house salad, entree choices of broiled lamb chops, New York strip steak served with crab-stuffed shrimp or potato-crusted haddock and sides of garlic saffron mash and mixed garden vegetables. Dessert choices are white chocolate cheesecake or chocolate raspberry mousse cake.

SC Prime Steakhouse and Bar plans to serve specials from 2 to 9 p.m., including an Easter meal for $39.

It features creamy chicken and tarragon soup or Sonoma field greens salad, entree choices of grilled filet mignon Arthur, roasted rack of lamb or seared Chilean seabass and a dessert of white chocolate Easter egg sack.

Brio Tuscan Grille to host
AFAN reception April 27

Brio Tuscan Grille at Tivoli Village, 420 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 180, plans to host a grand opening celebration and charity reception for Aid for AIDS of Nevada from 6 to 9 p.m. April 27.

For a donation of $25, guests can preview the menu and enjoy complimentary vodka martinis. A raffle with prizes, such as a spa package, a semester of classes from Kidville, Penn & Teller tickets and lunch and dinner at Brio for a year also, is planned. Eat blindfolded with Blindconnect
at Texas Station

Blindconnect plans to host Blind Date, a dining in the dark experience, at Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane, May 5.

Guests will experience a three-course meal while wearing blindfolds. Blind and visually impaired ambassadors will be at each table to provide helpful hints and share blindness information. A silent auction and presentation of the described video “Angela’s House” also are planned.

Blindconnect is a nonprofit organization that provides referrals and peer support to blind and visually impaired Southern Nevadans.
