Snaps is serving a Blue Plate Breakfast Special with choice of French toast, pancakes or waffles, one egg and bacon or sausage for $5.99; meatball sub with fries for $6.99; an 8-ounce prime rib special with mashed potatoes and vegetables for $8.99; a shrimp, chicken or steak po’boy with fries for $.7.99; a sliders lunch special for $5.99 and an 8-ounce New York steak and egg special for $7.99.

The All American Tax Free Breakfast is apple pie French toast, one egg, bacon and a cup of coffee for $6. Root beer floats are $1 with the purchase of an entree. Surf & Turf is $9.99 with choice of soup or salad, an 8-ounce New York steak, four breaded shrimp, vegetables and mashed potatoes.

Snaps also is offering a three-course Easter dinner for $9.99 with the purchase of a beverage. It features soup or salad, country baked ham with mashed potatoes with honey glaze sauce, vegetables and a dinner roll with choice of dessert.

Sam’s Town plans Easter specials

Billy Bob’s Steak House and Saloon inside Sam’s Town, 5111 Boulder Highway, plans to serve Easter dinner for $25 from 3 p.m. to closing Sunday.

The meal has house soup or salad, baked potato or rice and Billy’s bread basket. Entree choices are braised lamb shank, petite filet and grilled salmon filet. Dessert choices are chocolate mousse torte, raspberry cheesecake or Mississippi mud pie.

Willy and Jose’s Cantina plans to serve specials from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, including Tex-Mex shrimp cocktail for $9, chicken mole enchiladas for $13 and asada con camaron (steak and shrimp) for $18.

Hash House A Go Go inside Imperial Palace, 3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South, and the M Resort, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to serve Easter specials priced from $8.95 to $16.95 on Sunday. Brunch is planned from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 11 p.m.

Specials include drinks such as Gin Marys, blueberry limeade margaritas, Strawberry Quik lattes, Cinnamon Roll A Go Go and Bailey’s Choco Mint Mocha. Food specials include lamb chop hash, roasted chicken Benedict, Twisted ham chop and eggs and Easter M&M pancake. The dinner special is grilled mahi mahi stuffed with crab cake.

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab to serve Passover dinner

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab at Caesars Palace, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to serve Passover dinner from 4 to 10 p.m. today.

The four-course prix fixe Seder dinner will be $48.95 per person, excluding tax and gratuity.

The menu is set to feature homemade gefilte fish and red beet horseradish, chopped liver with bibb lettuce and chive, matzoh ball soup, a choice of broiled lemon-herb chicken breast, braised brisket of beef with sweet onion gravy or wild Alaskan halibut en papilote. Dessert will be a slice of flourless chocolate cake.

Mon Ami Gabi plans Easter Brunch

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris Las Vegas, 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host an Easter brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The menu is set to feature a strawberry waffle with fresh whipped cream for $10.95, eggs Benedict for $14.95 and corned beef hash and poached eggs for $10.95. An Easter egg giveaway also is planned.

Origin India raises $4,748
for Japanese tsunami victims

Origin India, 4480 Paradise Road, raised $4,748 during a benefit for victims of the earthquake and tsnuami in Japan during a benefit on April 7.

All donations collected will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

Asian-influenced menu

Gordon Biersch Brewery restaurants plan to serve a Maibock menu, complementing Maibock beer and the Mai Tai cocktail, for a limited time.

Maibock is a classic German handcrafted lager and is Gordon Biersch’s traditional celebration of the arrival of spring.

The menu is inspired by Asia and Hawaii and features appetizers of teriyaki Kobe slilders, garlic edamame and the Pacific Rim combo, which allows guests to try the sliders, shrimp and chicken potstickers, edamame and breaded shrimp with sweet chili sauce. Entrees include Asian chicken salad, Hawaiian Kobe burger, Asian orange chicken, ponzu salmon, udon noodle bowl and Hawaiian rib-eye, which is accompanied by mashed potatoes, grilled pineapple and vegetables. Desserts include banana spring rolls with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauces.

The menu is available through May 15.

Hostile Grape to house Rock ‘n Roll Wine Tasting Room & Sound Bar

The Hostile Grape inside the M Resort, 12300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has partnered with Rock ‘n Roll Wine to open the Rock ‘n Roll Wine Tasting Room & Sound Bar.

A traditional wine tasting will be paired with live entertainment at 9:30 p.m. Fridays. In addition to the tastings/concerts, Rock ‘n Roll Wine also will take a section of the wine-dispensing Enomatic machines and custom match selected wines to a musical genre based on each wine’s unique characteristics.

To add an interactive component, Rock ‘n Roll Wine will invite guests to participate in its Weekly Wine Showdown. Each week two wine flights will be offered for guests to purchase and vote on via text message. Participating guests will receive bounce-back drink and dining specials. Votes will be displayed on televisions positioned around the venue that also will stream a real-time Twitter feed of favorite wines and social conversation.

The tastings/concerts are for guests 21 or older. There is no cover charge.

Cooking fiesta class set for April 30 at El Segundo Sol

El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plan to host a Cooking Fiesta class from 10 a.m. to noon April 30.

Rick Moonen’s rm Seafood in Mandalay Bay, 3930 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is collaborating with chef Ralph Pagano of STK Miami to create round two of the ultimate surf and turf dinner.

Vegan cooking event set at Wynn Las Vegas
