AROUND TOWN: Donate books, see Mac King

Has your child outgrown some of his or her books, or are you hoping to donate a few new books?

To celebrate March, National Reading Month, comedic magician Mac King is hosting a book drive at Borders bookstore in Town Square, 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. South, to benefit children of Child Haven’s Through the Eyes of a Child Foundation.

King will be hosting a kick-off magic and reading in the park event at Town Square  at 11 a.m. on March 11. Through the Eyes of a Child Foundation will be bringing children from the organization on a special field trip just to see Mac perform. This event is also open to the public ,and all children that attend the event will receive a complimentary ticket to Mac’s show with their book donation.

In addition, anyone who donates a book throughout the month will receive a two-for-one ticket offer to the Mac King Comedy Magic Show at Harrah’s Las Vegas.
