Barrington touts Energy Star homes

Lennar's Barrington neighborhood, located in the Providence master-planned community in the northwest, features Energy Star homes with upgrades.

"It's almost easier to list what's not included in a Lennar home," director of marketing Vicki Zoot said. "Our homeowners are thrilled when they discover what we consider a standard feature."

Four total floor plans are available. Prices start at $339,990.

The single-level Del Mar measures 1,749 square feet and contains three bedrooms and two baths. Amenities include a covered porch entry, a foyer with ceramic-tile flooring, a formal living space, dining nook adjacent to the kitchen, a family room, sliding glass doors leading to the rear patio, a recessed media center and a fireplace complete with ceramic tile surrounds.

The two-story San Gabriel measures 2,702 square feet and contains four bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage. Amenities include a bonus room on the second floor, formal living and dining room, open country-style island kitchen with breakfast nook and a pantry.

Standard features at all the homes include refrigerator with icemaker, and a washer and dryer.

Granite kitchen countertops are standard, and so are the 2-inch faux wood blinds, as is the raised-panel 42-inch kitchen cabinetry.

To visit the Barrington Welcome Home Centers at Providence, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway to the Hualapai Way exit, turn north on Hualapai to Elkhorn Road and follow the signs. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Mondays when they close at 3 p.m.
